Centre vs. St. Xavier

Cacey Simons scored 22 points against St. Xavier at a game played at Centre High School.

A disastrous first half for St. Xavier almost guaranteed a victory for Centre. The Lady Cougars led 24-6 at the end of the first quarter and kept St. Xavier scoreless in the second.

However, St. Xavier almost matched Centre’s scoring in the second half, scoring 14 compared to Centre’s 16. However, it was too little, too late, and Centre won by 31 points.

Shelby Makovec scored 8 points and Deines scored 6.
