Employees of the Burns City Library didn’t expect to look over their desk and see two naked toddlers standing before them.
Just after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, sheriff’s deputies received a call saying two children had wandered into the library minus clothes and parents.
“I was shocked,” said one employee who did not wish to be named. “The door opened, which is partially blocked by a low wall, and I didn’t see anyone come in so I looked over my desk and there they were. They looked to be 1 and 2-ish.”
The kids, who only lived a few blocks away, were quickly returned to their parents.
