Jeff Christensen comes in every day to eat early with the kitchen crew. They discovered May 7 that it was his birthday, so the group sang “Happy Birthday” to him.

Shirley Moore brought in a vase containing her first four irises.

Myrta Billings presented the second in a series of nutrition lessons May 9. She will finish the series May 23.

The county senior citizens board will meet at the center on Friday.

At a makeup meal at noon Saturday, Harlow Warneke will be grilling hamburgers. Other items on the menu include potato salad, pasta salad, three-bean salad, and watermelon. Jan Wiens will bring special cupcakes made in honor of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding that day. Reservations are requested by calling (620) 382-2942.
