Ambulance call

St. Luke Hospital did not decline to take a stroke victim, as reported last week. Ambulance attendants chose not to go there after Herington Hospital reported being unequipped to the take the patient. A Marion County crew was jointed by a Dickinson County paramedic halfway through the trip. The patient was not transferred to a Dickinson County ambulance.
