family in Oklahoma

Evelyn and Ethan Forsberg and Wade and Morgan Rickenbrode of Council Grove traveled to Wagoner, Okla., Friday afternoon to visit relatives returning Sunday evening. They visited Keith and Bonnie Sue Hefner and Danny and Gina Crabtree, Adrienne, and Jordan.

Elinor Remy spent April 24 with Tom and Lynley Remy and family. She had dinner and supper with them and visited with family. Tad and Tye Remy were home from Manhattan.

Linda and Mike Carlson took cake for Charles Carlson’s birthday April 26. Guests included Arlene Carlson; Mike, Linda, and Roger Peterson; and Rolland Peterson.

Janine Hageberg of Blackwell, Okla., was a Saturday visitor of Gary and Marilyn Hageberg.

Burdick Council of Clubs will meet at 7:30 p.m. May 11 at the legion shelter house.

The Rev. Jay Beck of Abilene was an afternoon visitor Sunday of Darlene Gutsch.

Steven Hageberg of Caldwell was an afternoon visitor Sunday of Gary and Marilyn Hageberg.

Susan Carlson, Lee Shade, and Shirley Miller went to Abilene on Friday for the day. They ate lunch out and went shopping.

Forrest and Marie Anderson spent April 27 with Maurine Johnson at Bethany Home in Lindsborg. They had lunch together and visited.

Perry Gutsch and Anthony of Herington were visitors Thursday of Darlene Gutsch. Perry did some chores and Anthony mowed the yard. Anthony was also a Saturday visitor and did edging and trimming to the yard.

Dean Forsberg was an afternoon visitor April 26 and 27 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were dinner guests Sunday of Kent and Jean Brunner in Ramona. Other guests included Nolan Brunner and Noah of Herington and Jill Brunner and Tucker of Emporia.

Glenn Carlson was an afternoon visitor April 27 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended an Emporia State University concert Sunday at Albert Taylor Hall. Karen Korte, their daughter, is a member of the choir.
