Charles and Arlene Carlson accompanied Jean Brunner to church Sunday at Ramona. They were dinner guests at the home of Kent and Jean Brunner. Other guests were Nolan and Melissa Brunner, Leah, and Noah of Herington; and Jill Brunner and Tucker of Emporia. They celebrated Melissa’s birthday.

Forrest and Marie Anderson visited Rick and Angela Basore and family Saturday.

Perry Gutsch was a visitor after work Feb. 8 of Darlene Gutsch.

A large crowd attended a Valentine’s soup, salad, and dessert dinner Sunday at Burdick United Methodist. Food, candy, flowers, and other gifts were donated and sold with proceeds benefiting the benevolent fund.

Savannah Forsberg was a visitor Feb. 9 of Evelyn Forsberg.

Corlberg-Smith 147 American Legion and Auxiliary will celebrate the Legion’s birthday at 6 p.m. March 2 with a potluck supper at the Legion Hall. Meetings will follow. Ice cream and cake will be served.

Dean Forsberg was a noon dinner guest Thursday of Evelyn Forsberg.

Hebron Lutheran WELCA will meet at 10:30 a.m. Sunday after church services.

Mary Deane Peterson, Burdette and Maureen Peterson, Rigo and Mario Salazar of Derby, Bill Peterson of Herington, and Marvin Peterson of Lincolnville ate dinner together noon Saturday at Lost Springs.

Ruth Riggin and Lois Peterson visited Gary Zinn Feb. 9 at Wamego. They ate lunch with him at the home.

Visitors Sunday afternoon of Evelyn Forsberg were Marcus and Sabrina Dunkin, Logan, Konnor, and Garrett of Rose Hill; Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Willie Hicks, Savannah, and Ethan Forsberg; and Jewell and Harry Schump.

Diana Ecklund of Lincolnville and Carla Chase of Emporia were visitors Sunday of Mary Deane Peterson.

The Basore family’s grandfather, Francis George, died Friday.

Pat and Lee Nuss visited Clint Jost Sunday. Nick and Beth Wiebe and Kyle of Abilene visited Sunday evening.
