Ruth Riggin and Lois Peterson attended a dinner Sunday at the home of Lyal and Julie Sader in Salina. Other attendees included Helen Sader of Lindsborg; Chris and Tisha Bielefeld, Seth, and Morgan of Solomon; Brian Sader of Wichita; and Brylee and Trevin Sader of Salina. The group celebrated the birthdays of Ruth and Chris.

Burdick Hebron Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America met after church services Sunday at the church. Hallie Novak was the lesson leader. Attending were Dollye Novak, Gloria Martin, Jewell Swinney, Carol Riffel, and Nancy Hanson.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended Agri Producers, Inc. annual meeting and dinner Saturday at the Tampa Community Building.

Burdick Council of Clubs will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Legion hall.

Clint and Diana Jost and James Jost attended a party celebrating Kaylee Weibert’s second birthday Sunday at the home of her parents, Nick and Beth Weibert, in Abilene. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Dave Weibert, Harold and Shirley Kasper of Hillsboro, Wade Weibert of Manhattan, and John and Tory Jost and Collin of St. Marys.

Katie Remy had surgery to have her adenoids and polyps removed Feb. 24 in Newton. Elinor Remy stated that Katie is recuperating at home.

Mike and Linda Carlson brought supper Sunday to Charles and Arlene Carlson. They celebrated Mike’s birthday.

Josie Peterson of Lincolnville was a weekend guest of Mary Deane Peterson.

Burdick United Methodist Women met Feb. 24 at the church fellowship hall with seven members present. Devotions were given by Kiki Krause, lesson leader was Ruth Ann Carlson and refreshments were provided by Diana Jost. Those attending were Janet Matz, Susan Carlson, Nancy Riggin, and Ruth Riggin. The next meeting will be March 17 at the fellowship hall.

Dean and Nanette Forsberg, McKenzie Fogo of Salina, and Ethan Forsberg were afternoon visitors Sunday of Evelyn Forsberg. Evening visitors were Jane Rickenbrode, Wade, and Morgan; Morgan’s friend, Monica Henton of Council Grove; and Savannah Forsberg.

Lisa Beye and Chelsea of Herington were evening visitors Thursday of Mary Deane Peterson.

Ruth Riggin and Lois Peterson were visitors Thursday of Gary Zinn in Wamego.

Forrest and Marie Anderson were afternoon and evening visitors Sunday of Gary and Karen Korte in Emporia.

Dan and Linda Peterson attended the state high school wrestling tournament Friday and Saturday in Hays. Their grandson, Tate Omli, a student at Ell-Saline, participated and took first place in the 189-pound weight class. Tom and Suzie Omli are his parents.
