Nick and Beth Weibert and Kaylee of Abilene and James Jost were Christmas Eve guests of Clint and Diana Jost.

John and Amy Hanely of Salina were Saturday afternoon visitors of Charles and Arlene Carlson.

Diana Jost, assisted by others of the church, conducted Christmas Eve services at Burdick United Methodist Church.

Nancy Hanson and Allan Hanson were Christmas Day dinner guests of Dennis and Mary Wendt of Herington.

Keith and Dianne Miller of Grand Junction, Colo., arrived Wednesday afternoon and were houseguests of Lois Peterson until Saturday when they went to Topeka. Remember Keith and Dianne in your thoughts and prayers as his mother, Alberta Miller, died in Topeka. The funeral was Monday at Topeka.

Mary Deane Peterson attended Christmas Eve services at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Herington. She also attended Christmas Day “Julotta” services at 7 a.m. at Hebron Lutheran Church.

Ruth Riggin spent Christmas Day with Lyal and Julie Sader at Salina. Others there were Tisha Bielefeld, Seth and Megan.

Charles and Arlene Carlson attended a Christmas Eve supper at the home of Mike and Linda Carlson. Others in attendance were Jonnie and Cicely Karst, Rylee, Preslee, and Britlee of Wichita; Kent and Jean Brunner, Nolan and Melissa Brunner and Leah, and Ken and Alice Peterson of Herington.

Clint and Diana Jost entertained guests for Christmas Day dinner at their house. Guests included Al and Lee Shade, Linda Basore, James Jost, Tom Nelson, Naomi Nelson, and Ronnie and Susan Carlson of Lincolnville.

Jeff and Gayla Deines, Shelby and Justin hosted a Christmas Day dinner at their home. Guests were Darlene Gutsch, Jessica Deines of Manhattan, and Perry and Amy Gutsch, Anthony and Whitney of Herington.

Saturday morning visitors of Lois Peterson and her houseguests, Keith and Dianne Miller, were Mitchell and Wanda Peterson and family of Olathe, and Roger and Rolland Peterson.

Sara Denly, Ben and Abbey of Winfield and Burdette and Maureen Peterson were Saturday morning visitors of Mary Deane Peterson.

Pam Ackley entertained at her home Saturday evening with a post-Christmas supper. Guests were David and Connie Johnson, Kirsten and Cody, Jake and Nancy Hanson, and Allan Hanson.

John and Tory Jost and Collis of St Mary were Saturday and Sunday visitors of Clint and Diana Jost. Other visitors during the weekend were James Jost and Nick, and Beth Weibert and Kaylee of Abilene.

Charles and Arlene Carlson were guests at a Brunner family Christmas supper at the home of Lauren Brunner. Kent and Jean Brunner and other relatives attended.

Burdette and Maureen Peterson entertained Christmas morning with a brunch at their home. Guests were their children, grandchildren, Bill and Judy Peterson of Herington, and Mary Deane Peterson.

Lois Peterson entertained with a Christmas Eve supper for Keith and Dianne Miller of Grand Junction, Colo.; Jim and Marilyn Peterson; Mike Peterson and Kasey of Lyndon; Phil and Jamie Peterson; Chris Peterson of Ksenyia, Ukraine; Matt and Jamie Dalke, Reagan and Tyler of Lindsborg; John and Adrienne Richard of Lawrence; Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Ruth Riggin.

Dean Forsberg and Ethan Forsberg of Tulsa, Okla., were Tuesday dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg.

Forrest and Marie Anderson attended Christmas Eve services at St. Paul Lutheran Church of Herington. After the services they went to Emporia and were houseguests until Friday of Gary and Karen Korte. The Korte’s entertained with a dinner Thursday. Others attending were their children, Erik of Columbia, Mo., Ian of Lawrence, and Erin of Manhattan.

Mary Deane Peterson attended a post-Christmas supper Saturday evening at Brookville Hotel at Abilene hosted by Bill and Judy Peterson of Herington. Others attending were Judy’s mother, Doreen Carlson of Chappell, Neb., Dave and Sara Denly, Ben and Abbey of Winfield, and Josh and Emily Fullerton of Lincoln, Neb.

Bret and Lisa Beye and family of Herington hosted an afternoon Christmas Day dinner. Their guests were Ron and Jenny Schrader, Shae and Hunter of Wichita, Case and Kelli Salazar, Mario and Rigo of Derby, Marvin Peterson, Eric and Josie of Lincolnville, Roger Peterson, Rolland Peterson, and Mary Deane Peterson.

Christmas dinner guests of Evelyn Forsberg were Harry Schump of Herington, Jane Rickenbrode, Wade and Morgan of Council Grove, Dean and Nanette Forsberg, Savannah Forsberg of Emporia, Willy hicks, Ethan Forsberg, and Sammi Seifert.

Sunday visitors of Mary Deane Peterson were Jenny Schrader, Shae and Hunter of Wichita, Marvin Peterson and Josie of Lincolnville, and Burdette and Maureen Peterson.

Dean and Nanette Forsberg were Friday afternoon visitors of Evelyn Forsberg.

A Schroer cousin family reunion was noon Sunday at a Wichita bowling alley. It was attended by 20-25 relatives. It was organized and planned by Rick Schroer and Donna Schroer of Wichita. Those who attended locally were Ruth Riggin, Lois Peterson, Jim and Marilyn Peterson, Kasey Peterson of Lyndon, and Phil and Jamie Peterson. In the afternoon, there was bowling and games for the kids and cards for the adults. Ruth reported Dennis Schroer, who recently was a victim of an accident, was able to be there and was doing better.

Harry Schump was a Sunday afternoon and supper guest of Evelyn Forsberg. Dean Forsberg visited Sunday evening.
