Paul and Carolyn White took ice cream to the Marion Senior Center on Aug. 11 to go with fresh peach cobbler made by Theresa Graham. The dessert was served on decorated placemats provided by Barbara Abbott.

Harold Conyers celebrated his birthday at the senior center Aug. 12, bringing treats.

Flu shots will be available at the senior center if at least 25 people sign up.

Senior Center Day was Aug. 17. Henry Desair of Canton gave a musical presentation. It was also pencil day, and the center donated pencils to Marion Elementary School.

Tootsie Snelling will give a presentation about butterflies Aug. 31.
