The Marion Senior Center was the site of fresh produce distribution from the Kansas Food Bank recently, as well as being used for a presentation about health insurance for Kansas Department of Transportation workers in the county.
Shirley Bowers celebrated her birthday Oct. 3 and took homemade cookies to the center.
Upcoming events include the annual meeting of Senior Citizens of Marion County Inc. on Oct. 20, National Fork Day on Oct. 27, and Halloween and flu vaccines on Oct. 31.
Pam Bowers presented information about Marion PRIDE on Oct. 5, with support from Rex and Margaret Wilson.
Because of preparations for the annual meeting, there will be no program Oct. 19.
