Bad weather on Dec. 20 led to a smaller than usual crowd at Marion Senior Center. The center only closes when Marion schools close because of weather.

Suzanne Thole celebrated her birthday on Dec. 15. Keith and Norine Holtsclaw took cookies to the center for their anniversary on Dec. 16.

The monthly county board meeting was Dec. 16. The center made 87 enchiladas that morning.

A mystery CD was found in the Elvis Christmas CD case at the center. Inside was “18 Songs by Kalisa.” If someone wants that back, visit the center.

Dec. 21 was Senior Center Day. The Marion High School Singers provided music, directed by David Clark. Mary Hett brought in cookies to share. Patrons used special placemats previously made by Barbara Abbott.

The center will be closed Monday. There will be a program about couponing on Jan. 4.
