The Senior Center Sensations team for Walk Across Kansas went to the kickoff on March 18 and is ready to rack up the miles. The participants also are eating their fruits and vegetables, which also are counted.
Oggie Ogden told a blonde joke on March 15, which is one of the favorite categories of jokes.
On March 16, the seniors used placemats decorated for St. Patrick’s Day by Robin Nelson and Cathy Clyde.
Evelyn Jewett provided treats to celebrate her birthday.
A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board for those who want to go shopping together at a Wal-Mart store on a date yet to be decided. Seniors can call and get their name on the list.
Ralph Noriega sang and played his guitar on Senior Center Day. He asked Connie Fisher to join him on one of the songs.
