Lanell Hett and Gayla Ratzlaff directed a newsletter crew on Dec. 17. The volunteer crew included Wanda Hamm, Mary Ann Timm, Norma Woerz, Evelyn Jewett, Fred Puttroff, Elsie Reiswig, Sue Clough, Al and Gloria Ash, Norah Richter, and Jane Makovec.

Marion Senior Center hosted the Marion Senior Citizens county board Dec. 21 and those in attendance fellowshipped with friends from across the county.

Starting Jan. 2, the suggested contribution for meals for those 60-years and older rose to $3.15. The meal cost for those under the age of 60 is now $5.

Several people participated in show-and-tell the day after Christmas. Marilyn Geis, Sue Clough, Shirley Bowers, Rhonda Brenzikoker, and Jean Pierce shared with center friends. Shirley Bowers gave everyone a homemade cookie.

On Jan. 9, Robin Dicks of the Shepherd’s Shed will give a presentation.
