The winner of the penny jar guessing game was Sue Clough. She guessed $32.56; the actual amount was $31.21.

Marion Senior Center had many ill folks among regular diners, so not much happened in the interval.

The center celebrated some birthdays with treats brought by Lanell Hett and Joyce Jackson.

The center welcomed a new volunteer driver, Ed Riffel.

Sometimes last minute substitute drivers have to be called.

Many people enjoyed Channel 10’s Harry Hatteberg’s rerun of his segment on Lenora Graham from Florence.

She still delivers meals at age 91.

A pair of glasses was found in the Marion Senior Center parking lot. They are fixable.

Fans of Elvis enjoyed Mare Baker’s performance on Jan. 8.

Four people drove here from Wichita to check his act for a possible appearance at an event being planned.

Robin Dicks gave a presentation Jan. 9 about Shepherd’s Shed.

On Jan. 23, Jackie Volbrecht will give a presentation about Circles of Hope.
