A van provided by Kansas Commission on Veterans’ Affairs will be in the parking lot from noon to 6 p.m. Monday. They will answer questions and help with problems.
Beulah Weigart brought treats for her birthday May 6. She brought in a yellow iris to share, a sure sign that spring will stay around.
Barbara Hartley sang for the group on May 2. She does a great Patsy Cline. Hartley is formerly of Herington and was accompanied by several friends from there.
The center hosted an Answers for Older Kansans workshop May 8. Speakers addressed employment, elder abuse, Medicare, and at-home solutions.
Audiologist Haris Zafar of Wichita will give a presentation May 22. May is National Hearing Month.
