Diners enjoy birthday treats

Marilyn Geis brought cookies Nov. 18 to celebrate her birthday. Margene Dornbush was welcomed as a dining room volunteer who will work two times a week.
The winner of a penny jar contest was Paul White who guessed $14.93. There was $15.03 in the jar.
Mickey Mouse’s birthday was Nov. 18. Dorothy Conyers, Shirley Bowers, and Janet Bryant displayed Mickey Mouse items. The group sang the Mickey Mouse song and sang “Happy Birthday” to him.
Virginia Bowers brought Swedish weaving she had completed. Shirley Bowers showed a wall hanging with “Be Thankful” on it.
Patrick Jordan was a visitor Nov. 23 and played the piano.
Little Donnie Do-Dad will perform Dec. 8. He was one of the original KFDI radio ranch hands. His hour-long performance will begin at 12:15 p.m.
