New year means new puzzle

Marion Senior Center correspondent

The new year has begun which means Ivanlee Timm gets out a new jigsaw puzzle — “Murder in the Wind” — for diners to put together. The puzzle provides clues to solve a mystery.

A new poinsettia, donated by a local business, was given to the center.

Readings include explanations about angels, which are seen through the eyes of children.

Jon Thole celebrated his birthday Jan. 4.

Wilma Gilmer arranged decorations for January using covered wagons made from yellow egg cartons in recognition of Kansas Day on Jan. 29.

Marion County Homecare and St. Luke Living Center Director Janet Herzet will provide a program Jan. 19.

The center will be closed Monday in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
