Distance is no problem

Sue Clough won a prize for driving the longest distance to be with the group. She was on her way back from Wyoming and drove 350 miles to arrive for lunch May 11.
Wilma Gilmer put May baskets on tables at the center. Barbara Abbott made yellow placemats with Mother’s Day decorations. Beulah Weigart provided ice cream to celebrate her birthday May 6. Shirley Bowers brought a vase of irises.
The center will be closed May 30 in observance of Memorial Day.
The Senior Center Sensations, local Walk Kansas team, have made it across the state and halfway back.
Mike Norris gave a presentation and update on renovations at St. Luke Hospital. Merle Ecklund and Deb Harrington will give a musical presentation May 25 at the center.
