CORRESPONDENTS: Senior Center

Marion Senior Center correspondent

Ivanlee Timm started a 500-piece jigsaw puzzle June 1. After lunch, several jigsaw fanatics, Larry Blosser, Keith Holtsclaw, Leonard Klassen, and Fred Puttroff, finished it.

We are reading a mystery, with suspects and clues tied to the puzzle.

Lanell Hett brought a vase of pale, pink roses, which are her husband, Aaron’s, pride and joy.

Almeda Kahns celebrated her birthday June 1. It also was Andy Griffith’s birthday, so we played Mayberry trivia.

We welcomed Woody Crawshaw for the summer. During the school year, he drives a bus and cannot come for lunch.

Joe Forest of Jencyn Medical gave a presentation June 3 on diabetes and displayed items to alleviate pain.

Several of us helped Rhonda Brenzikofer prepare luminary sacks for Marion County Relay for Life.

Rod Garman, principal of Marion Elementary School, will speak June 17.
