Jerry and Jeanne Rziha are grandparents of Michael David Herron, born July 8 to Jim and Diane Herron of Chippewa Falls, Wis. Paternal grandfather is Floyd Herron of Haysville and great-grandmother is Bonnie Haslouer of Abilene. He was welcomed by four siblings Andrew, 6; Peter, 5; Maria, 3; and John, 1.
Enid Albrecht and her daughter, Tawny, spent July 7 with Georgia Spohn. They ate dinner out and explored places Enid remembered from her childhood.
Kathy Hubbard of Wellington spent July 1 through 4 with her mother, Adeline Bernhardt, who is recuperating from surgery. Pastor Clark Davis visited them on July 3. Fourth of July visitors were Lynn Kleiber and Nicholas of Salina and Leona Kleiber, who brought dinner.
Jonas and Kim Frantz visited the Tanganyika Wildlife Park near Goddard June 6.
Linda and Megan Bernhardt and James Haynes of Wichita visited Adeline Bernhardt July 7 and took her to Hillsboro for dinner.
Tampa’s farmer’s market on Wednesday evenings has drawn crowds. The variety of products available varies from week to week, but offerings have been baked goods, produce, eggs, homemade ice cream, homemade soap, and flea market items.
Many Tampa residents took in the Rednecks in Ramona celebration on July 4. Tom and Dee Duggan and Ron Jirak worked in the Knights of Columbus concession stand.
Leona Kleiber visited Adeline Bernhardt, her sister, June 8.
Guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika for a Fourth of July barbecue and next day leftovers included Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki, Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu, and James and Anna. All went to Ramona for evening festivities and fireworks.
Andrea Kleiber and Elijah, Amanda Baxa, and Leona Kleiber ate supper out July 1 in Lost Springs. Afterward, they had ice cream at the farmer’s market.
Tom and Dee Duggan visited Don and Betty Frick of Topeka and John Frick, Jillian, Jenna, Audrey, Noah, Sophia, and Natalie of Kansas City at their camping site of July 3.
Lucille Kerbs and Leona Kleiber visited Adeline Bernhardt June 5.
