The last farmer’s market of the summer will be today. The first game night of the winter will be Oct. 2.
Enid Albrecht of Wichita took her sister, Georgia Spohn, out for dinner in Abilene on Sept. 20 in celebration of Georgia’s 91st birthday. Georgia also received birthday greetings by telephone from her grandson, Ryan Spohn of Lincoln, Neb.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended the senior fair in Salina on Sept. 20 and visited Jackie Sjovahl at the hospital.
Dinner guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika on Sept. 15 were Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki, and Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu and Anna. Lisa brought a decorated ice cream cake in honor of Anna’s 17th birthday.
Leo and Sue Yanda spent Sept. 15 to 18 in Alma, Ark., helping Sue’s parents celebrate the 86th birthday of her father, Everett Smith.
Molly Kerbs and Raymond Beiser of Salina and Lucille Kerbs were Sept. 15 dinner guests of Tim and Marchelle Kerbs of Salina.
Enjoying dinner at the country club in Newton on Sept. 17 were Orin and Norma Wagner of Wichita, Steve and Sheri Spohn of Hope, Gary and Carole Spohn, and Georgia Spohn. They were celebrating Steve and Georgia’s birthdays.
Don Clemmer of Salina took Mary Clemmer and Ron Clemmer to Salina Sept. 15 for a going-away party for Chris and Dahn Walker, Cierra and Corbin, who will soon be moving to Singapore.

Lori Moldenhauer and Anna Mae Stika attended a salad supper of the Tabitha Society at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Herington, Sept. 14. Anna Weber kept her grandfather, Frank Stika, company while they were gone.
