Tom and Dee Duggan spent March 6 through 8 with Darla Hall in Lee’s Summit, Mo. They enjoyed a luncheon in a tearoom in Greenwood and went to a cash mob. For the uninitiated, a cash mob is a united effort by a group of people wanting to help out a business, which might be in financial trouble. En route home, the Duggans visited Don and Betty Frick of Topeka.
Glenn Kerbs of Dodge City took his mother Lucille Kerbs, on March 21, to Topeka. While Glenn was attending a business meeting, Lucille visited Cecile Penney and her houseguest, Elmer Gooding of Tempe, Ariz. Glenn visited with them briefly when he picked up Lucille. Upon returning to Tampa, Glenn was his mother’s overnight guest.

Cecilia Rziha of Oklahoma City, Okla., brought Cecilia Maria, Anthony, and Daniel Rziha of Tulsa, Okla., here on March 17 to visit Jerry and Jeanne Rziha. Cecilia stayed through the weekend, and the young Rzihas are spending this week’s spring break with their grandparents.

Georgia Spohn met Lenora Graham and Paulette Zook of Florence in Hillsboro Friday for learning in retirement at Tabor College and dinner out. The Tabor program featured Susie Haver of Concordia, who offered a presentation about aprons.
