Prairie Pals met April 24 at Mary Clemmer’s home with Laveta Meyer as assisting hostess. Others present were Lori Meyer, Donna Bundy, Sue Yanda, and Jane Vajnar. The roll call, on the topic of “my proudest accomplishment,” led to interesting conversation. The program consisted of sharing family history.
Lisa Hanschu and Anna brought supper to the home of Frank and Anna Mae Stika on Frank’s birthday April 24. Lori Moldenhauer, whose birthday was April 23, was also a guest.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended the vocal and instrumental music concert April 23 at Herington Middle School. Their granddaughter, Kaylee Hall, was one of the students performing.
Donald and Carolyn Srajer spent April 19 to 23 visiting Tillie Hein and Jim and Kris Srajer, Grant, and Cole.

Georgia Spohn met her cousin, Lenora Graham of Florence, on April 20 in Hillsboro for Learning in Retirement at Tabor College and dinner out. The program was “What Everyone Should Know about Poverty,” by Denise Brown.
Ashton Smith and Sydney of Pilsen, Julie Kerbs, and Lucille Kerbs attended a baby shower for April Reidy on April 21 at her home in Manhattan. Marchelle Kerbs and Molly Kerbs were hostesses. Many other family members and friends were present.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended a gala April 21 in Herington. The event, sponsored by the Herington Hospital Auxiliary, included a dinner, auctions, and dancing.
