Ramona Beisel, Adeline Bernhardt, and Dee Duggan joined other members of the Red Hat Society for dinner Jan. 20 at the Hilltop Community Center in Herington, followed by visiting at the home of Barbara Askew. Others present were Joyce Cox of Abilene; Ramona Goracke, Anita Hummel, and Betty Schlesener of Hope; and Karolyn Schlesener, Rhea Kolling, Helen Sorenson, and Rose Mary Deines of Herington.
Supper guests of Russ and Julie Kerbs Jan. 17 were Ashton Smith and Sydney and Lucille Kerbs.
Adeline Bernhardt was an afternoon visitor Jan. 19 of Iona Dietrich.
Orlin and Norma Wagner of Wichita met Gary and Carole Spohn and Georgia Spohn Jan. 17 at church in Marion. Afterward the group went out for dinner.

Kaylee Hall and Calyn Hartman of Herington were overnight guests Jan. 15 of Tom and Dee Duggan. Tom took the girls to basketball practice the next morning in Herington.
Lucille Kerbs was a Jan. 16 visitor of Connie Thompson, Allison, and Taylor, of Abilene. Connie and Lucille had dinner out.
Adeline Bernhardt and Jane Vajnar accompanied Tom and Dee Duggan Jan. 15 to Hillsboro for the monthly meeting of the Marion County Senior Citizens Board.
Andrea Klenda and Elijah took Leona Kleiber out for dinner Jan. 14.
Eleanor Herbel, Mildred Hamm, Autumn Chisholm, and Jane Vajnar attended the Jan. 14 meeting of the King’s Daughters at the Durham Baptist Church. Velma Wuthnow led devotions, Donna Diener gave the lesson, and Vajnar presented a mission study. Designated hosts were Edie Ollenburger and Debbie Owens. Dorene Joy assisted with serving refreshments.
Tom and Dee Duggan attended the Jan. 14 meeting of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees in Herington. New officers installed by Don Cooper, area three vice president, were Tom Duggan, president; Cindy Mowat, vice president; Dee Duggan, secretary-treasurer; and Robert Mowat, membership chairman. Gwen Owens-Wilson was the guest speaker.
