Marion Country Club had its season-opening breakfast scramble recently, with 31 golfers competing.

The team of Tim Young, Kevin Hayden, Brent Mackay, and Tom Ward won the championship flight with a score of 63. The team of Aaron Hett, Nickolas Hett, Charles Tajchman, and Greg Avant placed second with a score of 64.

The team of Jerry and Lois Smith, Jeff Goering, and Gene Winkler won the first flight with a score of 67. The team of Barry Allen, Zeth Thornhill, Tyler Smith and Steve Smith placed second with a score of 68.

The first-place teams donated their winnings to the club’s improvement fund. Members donating food or helping with the tournament were Bill and Mickey Lundy, Roger Schroeder, Kylie Hardey, Jerry and Lois Smith, Jeff Goering, Tim and Lisa Young, Aaron Hett, Kevin Burkholder, and Gene Winkler.
