NEW ARRESTS

Logan C. Ferguson, 18, Peabody, arrested June 16 by Peabody police on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Released a day later on $1,000 surety bond.

Eric C. Pettit, 37, Galva, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated assault and criminal damage to property. Released 6½ hours later on $5,000 surety bond.

Clinton T. Selle, 30, Wichita, jailed June 15 for allegedly failing to appear in court. Released two days later on $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Jan. 20 to Feb. 7, March 15 to 31, and Nov. 5 to 6 of last year for probation violations.

Brandon S. Toon, 35, Hillsboro, jailed June 17 for allegedly failing to appear in court. Released the next morning on a $3,000 personal recognizance bond. Previously jailed May 14 and May 28 and 29, both times on suspicion of possessing controlled substances, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. Freed both times on $5,000 surety bonds.

Julio C. Vizcarra, 28, Florence, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and interference with a law enforcement officer. Released nine hours later on $2,000 surety bond. Previously jailed four times in 2018 on court orders, for probation violation, and on suspicion of assault, marijuana possession, disorderly conduct, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Christian F. Ward, 42, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property. Released the next day on $2,500 surety bond.

Jarred J. Weems, 31, Wichita, jailed June 16 for twice allegedly failing to appear in court and on warrants from Harvey County and Wichita Municipal Court. Released Friday on $9,000 recognizance bond and $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Nov. 14 and Dec. 3, when he resided in Peabody, on suspicion of possessing opiates, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and of issuing a worthless check.
