NEW ARRESTS

Dustin R. Burnett, 34, Council Grove, jailed Aug. 24 for allegedly violating probation. Released the next day on $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed Feb. 14 to 18 on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

Harvey L. Johnson, 59, Peabody, jailed Monday for 45 days on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 19 days, mainly on suspicion of violating probation, since July 28, 2019

Carey E. Penrod Jr., 31, Herington, jailed Friday for three times allegedly failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $20,000 surety bond. Previously jailed June 25 for allegedly violating probation and July 6 to 12, 2020, on suspicion of possessing opiates and drug paraphernalia.

Sherri L. Porterfield, 55, Tampa, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing opiates and drug paraphernalia, trafficking contraband in jail, and driving under the influence of intoxicants, without insurance, and without registration. Held in lieu of $5,000 surety bond.

Dakota L. Young, 23, Florence, jailed Friday for allegedly failing to appear in court. Released 13 minutes later on $50 cash bond. Previously jailed July 26 on suspicion of domestic battery.
