NEW JAILINGS

Ever B. Anzora-Menjivar, 38, Kansas City, Kansas, arrested Sunday by Peabody police on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container of alcohol. Held in lieu of a $10,000 surety bond.

Jody A. Craig, 46, Marion, transferred to Marion County Jail on May 4 for failing to appear in court. Released eight hours later after posting a $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed March 14 and 15 on suspicion of battery.

Janet M. Geren, 61, Marion, jailed Monday on suspicion of violating her probation. Released 6 hours later after posting a $5,000 surety bond. Previously jailed three times for a total of six days since Aug. 6, 2020, for contempt of court and on suspicion of domestic battery and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Travis R. Grosse, 45, Marion, arrested Thursday by Peabody police for failing to appear in Peabody Municipal Court. Released the next afternoon after posting a $1,500 surety bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of six days since Jan. 22, 2018, once on suspicion of domestic battery, once on court orders, twice for failing to appear in court, and once on a motion to revoke his probation.

Rene R. Guzman-Prieto, 47, Overland Park, arrested Saturday by Peabody police on suspicion of possessing drugs and drug paraphernalia, driving without a license, and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released the next afternoon after posting a $10,000 surety bond.

Phillip D. Heathcock, 53, Loveton, New Mexico, arrested Monday by Marion police after failing to appear in court. Released 2½ hours later after posting a $2,500 surety bond. Previously jailed May 9, 2019, when his address was listed as Marion, on two counts of violating his probation.

Russell W. Johnson, 58, Canton, jailed May 4 for 10 days on court orders. Previously jailed April 2 through 4 on suspicion of violating his probation and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Adell P. Jones, 57, Hillsboro, jailed Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released Monday without bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of 17 days since May 2, 2018, on various warrants and on suspicion of attempting to distribute drugs, possessing marijuana, possessing marijuana after a previous conviction, possessing drug paraphernalia, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Charles R. Luchi, 68, Marion, arrested Thursday by Marion police on suspicion of distributing drugs, possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, interfering with law enforcement, and failing to have a drug tax stamp. Released Monday after posting a $20,000 surety bond.

Dustin J. Luchi, 42, Marion arrested Thursday by Marion police on suspicion of distributing drugs, possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, interfering with law enforcement, and failing to have a drug tax stamp; for violation and revocation of probation; and on charges from a previous case. Held in lieu of $70,000 in surety bonds. Had been released from jail just three days earlier after being arrested on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, interfering with law enforcement, and driving while his license was suspended, and violating probation. Previously jailed three additional times for a total of six days since April 1, 2021, on suspicion of resisting arrest, driving without a license, twice driving with a suspended license, distributing a controlled substance, twice possessing drug paraphernalia, and possessing methamphetamine.

Keegan A. Mazur, 18, Hillsboro, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court. Released five hours later after posting a $2,500 surety bond.

Brandon S. Toon, 37, Florence, transferred to Marion County Jail on May 4 for seven times failing to appear in court and on suspicion of violating probation. Held in lieu of a $1,500 surety bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of seven days since May 14, 2020, for twice failing to appear in court and on suspicion of three times possessing marijuana, twice possessing another controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, displaying a license plate not assigned to his vehicle, criminal damage to property, criminal trespass, and trafficking contraband in a correctional facility.
