NEW JAILINGS

Lisa Bunting, 32, Salina, jailed Friday for allegedly violating her probation. Released Monday without bond. Previously jailed July 18 to Sept. 14, when her address was listed as Wichita, on suspicion of distributing and possessing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, operating an unregistered vehicle, and having no drug tax stamp.

Zachary M. Burwell, 25, Salina, jailed Monday for allegedly violating his probation. Released eight hours later after posting a $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed March 13 on suspicion of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, domestic battery, battery, and criminal damage to property.

William P. Castleberry, 45, Burns, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, endangering a child, and abuse of a child by torture or cruel beating. Bond not set. Previously jailed May 15 on suspicion of battery.

Richard A. Ferran, 42, Elbing, arrested Dec. 7 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, having no drug tax stamp, transporting an open container of alcohol, making an improper stop or turn, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released Sunday after posting a $10,000 surety bond.

Jordan L. Fryhover, 24, Hillsboro, jailed Monday for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of $100,000 surety bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 160 days between Feb. 6, 2020, and Oct. 20, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders and for allegedly violating probation three other times, for failing to appear in court three times, and on suspicion of felony theft, misdemeanor theft, possession of stimulants and drug paraphernalia two times, possession of marijuana, burglary, criminal damage to property,

Ashlyee N. Hiebert, 22, Hutchinson, jailed Dec. 7 for 96 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 12 days between July 4, 2022, and April 5, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court three times and on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Shannon T. Lehr, 40, Herington, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, and failing to have a drug tax stamp. Held in lieu of a $10,000 surety bond. Previously jailed three times for a total of four days between Oct. 11, 2019, and Sept. 8, 2020. Previous jailings were on court orders and for allegedly violating his probation twice.

Patricia L. Miller, 41, Topeka, jailed Friday by a bounty hunter for twice failing to appear in court. Released 20 hours later after posting a $15,000 surety bond. Previously jailed six times for a total of 92 days between Dec. 8, 2020, and Aug. 27, 2022. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating her probation, for failing to appear in court, on other jurisdictions’ warrants, and on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia two times, transporting an open container of alcohol, and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Helen J. Smith, 56, Marion, jailed Monday for allegedly violating her probation. Released nine hours later after posting a $15,000 surety bond. Previously jailed six times for a total of 20 days between Aug. 5, 2020, and Oct. 6, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court, for failing to appear in court six times, for allegedly violating her probation, and on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and paraphernalia to manufacture an illicit drug.

Wayne L. Thompson, 65, Marion, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and of transporting an open container of alcohol. Released 21 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 6, Aug. 20 through 23, and Sept. 30 to Oct. 1, all three times on suspicion of again driving under the influence and transporting an open container.
