NEW ARRESTS

Bryan T. Grosse, 42, Marion, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of transporting an open container of alcohol, twice violating his probation, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released a day later after posting $20,500 in surety bonds. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 13 days between Nov. 5, 2018, and Dec. 8, 2022. Previous jailings were for twice failing to appear in court, for four times allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, driving without a license, cultivating a controlled substance, and possessing marijuana, stimulants, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

Taneisha R. Herndon, 23, Wichita, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and marijuana and driving without a license or vehicle registration. Released the next day after posting a $10,000 surety bond.

Beretta P. Janzen, 26, Florence, jailed Friday for 30 days on court orders. Released two days later. Previously jailed five times for a total of nine days between July 11, 2018, and June 26, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for twice allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of aggravated battery, domestic battery (three times), making a criminal threat, assault, violating an order of protection from abuse, and criminal restraint.

Forrest C. Maris, 36, Peabody, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released eight hours later after posting a $1,000 surety bond. Previously jailed April 3 and 4, 2020, again on suspicion of domestic battery and on suspicion of violating an order of protection from abuse.

Andrea D. Melbye, 38, Florence, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia. Released 12 hours later after posting a $10,000 surety bond.

Mystery S. Prieto, 40, Peabody, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 23 days between Dec. 13, 2020, and Nov. 28, 2022. Previous jailings were twice on court orders, once for allegedly violating her probation, and on suspicion of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Cecil W.R. Rodman, 21, Hominy, Oklahoma, jailed Thursday on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child. Held in lieu of a $100,000 surety bond.

Neftali Roman, 49, Herington, jailed Dec. 13 for 48 hours on court orders.

William R. Shearer, 41, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 18 on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked and Dec. 22 and 23 on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, endangering a child, transporting an open container of alcohol, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Sarah V. Smith, 44, Marion, arrested Dec. 13 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing an opioid and of driving with an unassigned license plate without vehicle liability insurance. Released the next day after posting a $1,000 surety bond.

Michael J. Strotkamp, 45, Peabody, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, trafficking in contraband in a correctional facility, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released three hours later after posting a $5,000 surety bond.

Wayne L. Thompson, 65, Marion, jailed Friday for allegedly violating his probation three times. Released two hours later without bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of nine days between Aug. 6 and Dec. 11. Each of the four previous jailings was on suspicion of separate charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Christopher R. Wilson, 34, Marion, jailed Tuesday on court orders. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 341 days between Dec. 13, 2019, and Nov. 29, 2021. Previous jailings were for contempt of court (five counts), failing to appear in court (two counts), on court orders, and on suspicion of burglary, theft (twice), trespassing, criminal damage to property, possession of stolen property, interference with a law enforcement officer, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, possession of another controlled substance, transporting an open container of alcohol, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
