NEW JAILINGS

Cassandra L. Beisly, 38, Emporia, jailed Monday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of -00- days between May 24, 2019, and May 30, 2022. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating probation twice and on suspicion of driving without liability insurance while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Robin J. Hays, 44, Florence, jailed Feb. 15 for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed July 4 and 5 for allegedly violating her probation and July 31 to Aug. 5, 2018, on suspicion of possessing methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia and aggravated child endangerment by exposing a child to meth chemicals.

Donald J. Miller, 32, Herington, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of violating his probation. Bond not set. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of 594 days between June 4, 2018, and Dec. 19, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for failing to appear in court 12 times, and on suspicion of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, two counts of driving while his license was suspended, and single counts of domestic battery and possession of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Nichole P. Newton, 28, Marion, arrested Feb. 14 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 18 hours later after posting a $1,000 bond.

Samuel I. Reffett, 40, Durham, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of eight days from Jan. 21 to Nov. 5, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of domestic battery, two counts of failing to use a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Dustin D. Rodgers, 47, Newton, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia. Held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Previously jailed six times for a total of 10 days between May 5, 2021, and Sept. 5, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for allegedly violating his probation, for failing to appear in court twice, and on suspicion of two counts of failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, single counts of displaying a license plate other than the one assigned and failing to use a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, and two counts of driving while his licenses was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Kelby J. Schmidt, 29, Hillsboro, jailed Monday for five days on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of 13 days between Feb. 10 and Oct. 23, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of felony criminal damage to property, attempted harassment by transmitting obscene material, reckless driving, interference with a law enforcement officer, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Dawn M. Setzer, 40, North Newton, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia. Released 38 hours later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Dec. 4 to 5 on suspicion of again possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and May 22 to 23, again on suspicion of possessing stimulants.

Donald L. Wilson, 51, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 30 on suspicion of possessing a marijuana, an unspecified controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia; possession of a weapon while intoxicated; transporting an open container of alcohol; and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Ronnie P. Winters, 27, Marion, arrested Feb. 15 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of battery. Released 10 hours later on a personal recognizance promise to pay $1,000 should he fail to appear in court.
