NEW JAILINGS

Almeda G. Giroux, 21, Ramona, jailed Saturday for 24 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 27 to 29, 2022, also on court orders.

Jeromy D. James, 42, Marion, jailed Friday for allegedly violating his probation. Released 30 minutes later after posting a $1,500 bond. Previously jailed Sept. 5 and 6, 2021, on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and criminal restraint.

David E. Delgado, 25, Wichita, arrested March 28 by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released 25 hours later after posting a $500 bond.

Beretta P. Janzen, 26, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 10 times for a total of 20 days between July 11, 2018, and March 26, 2023. Previous jailings were five times on court orders, twice for allegedly violating probation, and other times on suspicion of three courts of domestic battery and single counts of aggravated battery, assault, making a criminal threat, criminal restraint, and violating an order of protection.

Stephanie L. Johnson, 44, Newton, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed June 9 on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia; Jan. 14 and 15, 2022, on suspicion of aggravated burglary, making a criminal threat, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespassing; and May 2 to 4, 2018, on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Shampaine A.R. Muldrow, 21, Junction City, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released Monday after posting a $2,000 bond.

Samuel I. Reffett, 40, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police, four days after a previous jailing, on suspicion of domestic violence. Bond not set. Previously jailed six times for a total of 42 days between Jan. 21, 2022, and March 26, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders three times, for failing to appear in court once, and on suspicion of domestic battery, tampering with a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, driving without a required interlock, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Bill Rose, 42, McPherson, jailed Friday for failing to appear in court. Released Monday without bond.

Dawn M. Setzer, 40, North Newton, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of violating her probation. Held in lieu of $20,000 bond. Previously jailed three times for a total of six days between May 22, 2022, and Feb. 19, 2023. Previous jailings were on suspicion of possession of stimulants three times and possession of drug paraphernalia twice.
