NEW JAILINGS

Almeda G. Giroux, 21, Ramona, jailed Saturday for 24 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of five days, all on court orders, since April 27, 2022.

Ashlyee N. Hiebert 23, South Hutchinson, jailed Thursday for five days on court orders. Previously jailed six times for a total of 23 days since July 4, 2020. Previous jailings were on suspicion of possessing drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; for three times failing to appear in court; on court orders; and for allegedly violating her probation.

Andre B. Howard, 25, Newton, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed March 1 to 3 for allegedly violating his probation and Aug. 1 to 3, 2022, for failing to appear in court.

Luis C. Perez, 32, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of domestic battery. Released Sunday after posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed 15 times for a total of 108 days since June 14, 2018. Previous jailings were on suspicion of battery, making a criminal threat, criminal restraint, domestic battery, criminal damage to property, being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol, burglary, criminal trespassing, and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol; for failing to appear in court four times; for allegedly violating his probation twice; and on court orders five times.

Joshua E. Rhea, 27, Moundridge, arrested Monday by a state trooper for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of battery and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released an hour later after posting $2,823.23 in bonds.

Houston J. Svoboda, 28, Tampa, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Released five hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Christopher M. Troy 34, Leonardville, jailed Friday for allegedly violating his probation. Bond not set. Previously jailed Nov. 1 and 2, 2021, for contempt of court and July 20 and 21, 2021, for failing to appear in court.
