NEW JAILINGS
Colten E. Brady, 27, Overland Park, jailed April 26 on suspicion of five counts of vehicular burglary, two of them with intent to steal a firearm; attempted vehicular burglary; and three counts of theft. Released Monday after posting a $15,000 bond.
Jouanna S. Cain, 31, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released an hour later after posting a $2,000 bond.
Kevin W. Geren, 61, Marion, arrested April 26, by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation. Released the next day after posting a $50,000 bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 12 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and Dec. 26, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times and on suspicion three courts of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and single counts of distributing stimulants, fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, possessing marijuana and hallucinogens, and failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance.
Almeda G. Giroux, 21, Ramona, jailed Saturday for 24 hours on court orders. Previously jailed six times for a total of seven days, all on court orders.
Bryan T. Grosse, 42, Marion, jailed Monday for 30 days on court orders. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 15 days between Nov. 5, 2018, and Dec. 18, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court twice, for six times allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of burglary, criminal damage to property, theft, driving without a license and while his license was suspended or canceled or revoked, cultivating a controlled substance, transporting an open container of alcohol, and possessing methamphetamine, marijuana, stimulants, and drug paraphernalia.
Brandon L. Klenda, 37, Lincolnville, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, and driving while his license was suspended. Released Monday on his own recognizance, promising to pay $550 should he fail to appear in court. Previously jailed four times for a total of 167 days between Jan. 1, 2018, and Sept. 11, 2019. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating his probation, on a motion to revoke his probation, and twice on court orders
Adam T. Mosier, 34, Burns, arrested April 26 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released the next day on his own recognizance, promising to pay $2,500 if he fails to appear in court.
Derrick E. Ratzloff, 27, Marion, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released the next day after posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed July 5, 2020, on suspicion of the same charges and July 31, 2022, on suspicion of aggravated assault.
Kelby J. Schmidt, 29, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed five times for a total of 20 days between Feb. 10 and Oct. 23, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders three times and on suspicion of criminal damage to property, attempted harassment by a telecommunications device, reckless driving, interfering with law enforcement, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
