NEW JAILINGS
Charly J. Bowman, 37, Council Grove, held in lieu of $15,000 bond since May 2 for Morris County.
Melinda N. Dougherty, 34, Rosehill, jailed Monday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $100 cash bail.
Janet M. Geren, 62, Marion, arrested May 2 by Marion police for allegedly violating her probation. Released 24 hours later after posting a $15,000 bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of 10 days between Aug. 6, 2020, and July 3, 2022. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court, for allegedly violating her probation previously, and on suspicion of domestic battery and possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia.
Kevin W. Geren, 61, Marion, arrested May 3 by the sheriff on suspicion of making a criminal threat. Released less than an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 14 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and April 27, 2023. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times, for allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of three times possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, of once possessing marijuana and a hallucinogen, of once distributing stimulates, and of once attempting to flee or elude law enforcement during commission of a felony.
Sabrina L. Hessel, 28, Hillsboro, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of six days between March 21, 2018, and Aug. 14, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court twice, on court orders once, and on suspicion of domestic battery and driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Joseph W. Heubach, 26, no address given, jailed May 3 for allegedly violating his probation. Released Monday after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed March 13 to 16, 2021, on suspicion of possessing opiates and drug paraphernalia and for failing to appear in court and May 7 to June 8, 2021, for allegedly violating his probation.
Cleo M. Sharr, 54, no address given, held without bond since Saturday for Morris County,
Clifford J. Vanderzanden, 45, Elmdale, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and aggravated child endangerment. Released Monday after posting a $5,000 bond.
Kimberly F. Vanderzanden, 22, Emporia, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing opiates, possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, and aggravated child endangerment. Held in lieu of $20,000 bond. Previously jailed March 3 and 4 on suspicion of soliciting possession of a controlled substance and possessing drug paraphernalia.
