NEW JAILINGS

Brian L. Collins, 41, Wichita, arrested Saturday by a state trooper on suspicion of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released three hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Kenneth R. Grayson, 51, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 23 to 28 on court orders and June 16 to 18, 2022, on suspicion of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and attempted possession of stimulants.

Brian W. Hiebert, 27, Florence, jailed Monday on two counts of indirect contempt of court. Bond not set. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 95 days between Aug. 19, 2018, and May 10, 2023. Previous jailings were for three times failing to appear in court, for twice allegedly violating his probation, once on court orders, and on suspicion of contributing to a child’s misconduct; furnishing alcohol or beer to a minor; burglary; criminal trespassing; possession of a controlled substance, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; driving without a license, in an unregistered vehicle, and without liability insurance; interference with a law enforcement officer; forgery; and four counts of theft.

Stephaine L. Johnson, 45, jailed Monday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed four times for a total of nine days between May 2, 2018, and April 2, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of possessing stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia (twice); aggravated burglary; making a criminal threat; disorderly conduct; and criminal trespassing

Gary L. Steele, 68, Lincolnville, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated battery and aggravated assault. Released less than two hours later after posting a $15,000 bond.

Nadia A.M. Simon, 21, Burns, jailed Wednesday on suspicion of child abuse. Released an hour later after posting a $15,000 bond.
