NEW JAILINGS

Paul F. Baatrup, 23, Wichita, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of 114 days between April 15, 2019, and May 13, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating offender resgistration three times.

John A. Blenz, 53, Berryton, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated burglary and domestic battery. Released 9½ hours later after posting a $15,000 bond.

Ryan R. Bradford, 24, Hillsboro, arrested Tuesday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Held in lieu of $2,500 bond. Previously jailed Oct. 22 to 24, 2021, on court otders.

Ernest L. Edens, 49, no hometown listed, arrested Monday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of rape, two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, and aggravated indecent solicitation of a child younger than 14. Held in lieu of a $250,000 bond.

Allison A. McDowell, 28, Mulvane, arrested May 15 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released 11 hours later after posting a $10,000 bond.

Mitchell W. McMillen, 46, Peabody, jailed Monday for 30 days on court orders. Previously jailed March 20 to April 10 on suspicion of violating an order of protection from abuse and Aug. 5, 2020, to Feb. 26, 2021, on suspicion of making a criminal threat, aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon, interference with law enforcement, battery, criminal damage to property, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

William R. Shearer, 42, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 14 days between Dec. 22, 2021, and May 12, 2024. Previously jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating his probation, twice violating an order of protection, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of alcohol, endangering a child, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
