NEW JAILINGS

Paul F. Baatrup, 23, Wichita, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 14 times for a total of 116 days between April 15, 2019, and May 20, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating offender registration three times.

Patricia L. Miller, 43, Topeka, jailed Sunday for six days on court orders. Previously jailed 10 times for a total of 109 days between Dec. 8, 2020, and April 2, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times, for twice allegedly violating her probation, once on court orders, on a Georgia warrant for failing to appear in court there, on two unspecified Marion County warrants, and on suspicion of twice possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and once transporting an open container of alcohol and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

William R. Shearer, 42, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 16 days between Dec. 22, 2021, and May 19, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders and on suspicion of violating his probation, twice violating an order of protection, possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, transporting an open container of alcohol, endangering a child, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Andrew K. Sheffler, 31, Hesston, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed June 18 and 19 on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery.

Alicia D. Warwick, 37, Peabody, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 11½ hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Eric J. Williams, 36, Marion, jailed May 22 without bond for allegedly violating his probation. Previously jailed 24 times for a total of 205 days between Dec. 21, 2017, and Dec. 1, 2023. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court 16 times, for allegedly violating his probation four times, on a hold for the Kansas Department of Corrections once, on court orders twice, for three times being in contempt of court, and on suspicion of fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement; possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and stimulants; burglary; criminal damage to property; driving without a valid license; and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
