NEW JAILINGS

Dakota L. Dillashaw, 30, Hays, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated battery. Held without bond. Previously jailed 16 times for a total of all or part of 69 days between June 12, 2017, and Dec. 10, 2023. Previous jailings were on county orders six times, for failing to appear in court five times, for allegedly violating his probation three times, and on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and violating an order of protection.

David C. Keffer, 43, no hometown listed, jailed Friday for Kansas Department of Corrections. Previously jailed June 7 to 14 for corrections and June 15, 2023, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and driving without a license and liability insurance.

Calvin W. Lee, 51, Wichita, jailed Friday for four days on court orders. Previously jailed June 30 to Aug. 11, 2023, on suspicion of aggravated assault and violating an order of protection and Jan. 3 and 4, 2023, on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia; of driving without a license, liability insurance, and vehicle registration; and of transporting an open container of alcohol.

Andrea D. Melbye, 40, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 5 for reasons not listed and Dec. 15, 2022, on suspicion of possession of stimulants and drug paraphernalia.

Eduardo R. Ortiz, 42, Herington, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Dec. 18 for allegedly violating his probation and Oct. 6 to 15 on court orders.

Tammy N. Shannon, 45, Florence, jailed Monday for failing to appear in court. Released 2½ hours later after posting a $1,000 bond.

Todd P. Singley, 47, Newton, jailed Monday for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of all or part of 96 days between May 15, 2022, and April 29, 2024. Previous jailings were on suspicion of aggravated battery, for failing to appear in court, and twice on court orders.

Tony L. Smith, 66, Wichita, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation. Released an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed March 15 to 17 on court orders and April 24, 2023, for failing to appear in court.
