NEW JAILINGS
Paul F. Baatrup, 24, Salina, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating his probation twice. Held in lieu of posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of all or part of 201 days between April 14, 2019, and May 26, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court, and on suspicion of three times violating the state’s offender registration act.
Wyatt S. Craney, 43, Lincolnville, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed March 17 to 19, 2023; Feb. 10 to 12, 2023; and Sept. 21 to 23, 2018, all on court orders.
Tory R. Elkins, 44, Oswego, jailed without bond Friday, apparently for a court appearance. Previously jailed five times for a total of all or part of 15 days between April 8, 2022, and July 23, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders three times, for failing to appear in court once, and on suspicion of two counts of possessing stimulants and single counts of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
Richard A. Ferran Jr., 44, Peabody, arrested Jan. 29 by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation. Released two hours later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of all or part of 33 days between Dec. 7, 2022, and Oct. 5, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders four times, for allegedly violating his probation previously, and on suspicion of violating driver’s license restrictions, illegally displaying license plates, possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, making an improper stop or turn signal, transporting an open container of alcohol, failing to have a marijuana tax stamp, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
Kordell L. Harding, 31, Madison, jailed without bond Friday for a court appearance. Previously jailed June 16, 2023, and Jan. 18 to 23, 2023, for failing to appear in court and Feb. 3 to 15, 2022, on suspicion of burglary, possessing stolen property, and twice violating his probation.
Calvin W. Lee, 51, Wichita, jailed Friday for three days on court orders. Previously jailed Aug. 9 to 13, 2024, on court orders; June 30 to Aug. 11, 2023, on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and violating an order of protection; and Jan. 3 and 4, 2023, on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving without a valid license and without liability insurance, displaying a license plate other than the one assigned, and transporting an open container of alcohol.
Athen J. Turner, 24, Loveland, Colorado, jailed without bond Friday on suspicion of theft.
Levi S. Wiley, 38, Wichita, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating his probation. Released Saturday after posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed July 5 to 7, 2024, for unspecified reasons; Dec. 29 and 30, 2022, for failing to appear in court and allegedly violating his probation; and Aug. 30 to Nov. 5, 2019, on suspicion of possessing stimulants, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.
