NEW ARRESTS

Jaden A. Cutsinger, 29, Hutchinson, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 11 to 13 and May 2 to 4 on court orders and July 5 to 7, 2020, on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment, interfering with law enforcement, driving without a valid license and under the influence of alcohol, transporting an open container of alcohol, failing to surrender registration as required, and failing to have vehicle liability insurance.

Kayla S. Gosnell, 25, Lost Springs, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating her probation twice. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed eight times for a total of all or part of 32 days between May 12, 2021, and Nov. 3, 2023. Previous jailings were on suspicion of possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia; for failing to appear in court; for contempt of court twice; for allegedly violating her probation twice; and on court orders three times.

Daniel J. Henry, 34, Marion, jailed for nine hours May 14 for twice failing to appear in court. Then, 10 hours after his release on his own recognizance, arrested by Marion police on suspicion of domestic battery, child endangerment, and criminal damage to property. Released 19 hours later after posting a $1,500 bond.

Calvin J. Hinz, 41, Lincolnville, jailed May 13 for allegedly violating his probation. Released 26 hours later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed Oct. 30 to Nov. 1 on suspicion of domestic battery and for failing to appear in court; Oct. 21 on suspicion of vehicle burglary; and Aug. 11, 2021, on suspicion of two counts of theft.

Karon D. Hudson, 30, Hillsboro, arrested Tuesday by Hillsboro police on an unspecified warrant. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond.

Tommy E. McBride, 44, Newton, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Nov. 3 to 5, 2022, on suspicion of distributing stimulants and possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Melissia R. Merunka, 48, Peabody, jailed Thursday for Kansas Department of Corrections after being arrested by U.S. marshals and state troopers on unspecified charges. Bond not set.

Joshua A. Olsen, 34, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated battery and domestic battery. Bond not set.

Samantha N. Schmidt, 39, Goessel, arrested Monday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of burglary and theft. Released an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed June 19 to 26 on court orders and Sept. 9 to 11, 2023, on suspicion of burglary and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Michael W. Sigel, 53, Marion, jailed May 12 on court orders. Released Thursday, continuing a pattern of short jailings that began Feb. 10.

Sarah V. Smith, 46, Marion, arrested Saturday by Marion police on suspicion of recklessly fleeing police. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 26 and 27, 2023, on suspicion of violating an anti-stalking order and Dec. 13 and 14, 2022, on suspicion of possessing stimulants, displaying another vehicle’s license plate, and failing to have vehicular liability insurance.

Dusty L. Trusdale, 40, Peabody, jailed Thursday for Kansas Department of Corrections after being arrested by U.S. marshals and state troopers on unspecified charges. Bond not set.

Adam M. Wilson, 37, Peabody, jailed Monday for Kansas Department of Corrections on unspecified charges. Bond not set. Previously jailed March 27 to 31 for allegedly violating his parole; Feb. 20, 2024, for failing to appear in court twice; and Feb. 25 to 28, 2022, again for allegedly violating his parole and on two counts of aggravated failure to appear in court.
