NEW JAILINGS

Bryce L. Hamilton, 30, Newton, arrested Saturday by Marion police on suspicion of driving without a required anti-driving interlock and while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released less than an hour later after posting $4,500 in bonds.

Coral D. Hessel, 59, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and criminal damage to property, Released 15 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Mitchell W. McMillen, 47, Peabody, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of violating an order of protection and violating his parole. Held in lieu of posting a $2,500 bond. Previously jailed May 20, 2024, to March 13, 2025, on suspicion of burglary and violating a protective order; March 20 to April 10, 2024, again on suspicion of violating a protective order; and Aug. 5, 2020, to Feb. 26, 2021, on suspicion of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer with a deadly weapon, interfering with law enforcement, battery, making a criminal threat, criminal damage to property, and being a pedestrian under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Nicholas C. Peterson, 41, Peabody, jailed Thursday on suspicion of violating offender registration. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 1 to March 11, 2024, for Kansas Department of Corrections; June 7, 2022, for allegedly violating his probation; and May 25, 2021, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Andrew G. Walker, 38, Newton, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving without a license, without required vehicle liability insurance, and while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released 11½ hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.
