NEW ARRESTS

Christina M. Bowley, 41, Florence, arrested Oct. 28 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of felony theft and making a false police report. Released two hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Michael E. Haden, 63, Clay Center, arrested Oct. 29 by Marion police on suspicion of distributing stimulants, possessing paraphernalia to manufacture a controlled substance, having no drug tax stamp, and driving with a defective taillight and without liability insurance. Held in lieu of posting a $20,000 bond.

Michelle L. Hammer, 48, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released 10 hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Patrick M. Hull, 46, Salina, jailed Oct. 28 for 60 days on orders from McPherson County District Court.

Cindy M. Kahns, 43, Hillsboro, arrested Sunday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released 10 hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Ronald J. Leyman, 29, Wichita, jailed Monday for Kansas Department of Corrections. Previously jailed Oct. 21 and 22 for allegedly violating his probation and March 13 to 20, 2018, on court orders.

Jimmere F. Mills, 33, Hemmingway, South Carolina, arrested Saturday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and of driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released 10½ hours later after posting a $3,000 bond.

Todd P. SIngley, 49, Newton, jailed Monday for 30 days on court orders. Previously jailed eight times for a total of all of part of 114 days between May 15, 2022, and Aug. 1, 2025. Previous jailings were on suspicion of aggravated battery, for failing to appear in court, on court orders four times, and for allegedly violating his probation twice.

Kadian E. Sorter, 20, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of violating offender registration, driving an unregistered vehicle, illegally transferring a vehicle title, and failing to have vehicle liability insurance. Held in lieu of posting a $5,000 bond.
