NEW ARRESTS

Eric M. Hale, 39, Hillsboro, arrested Nov. 18 by Hillsboro police on a warrant alleging violation of his probation. Released 17 hours later without bond. Previously jailed Oct. 21 and 22 on suspicion of transporting an open container of alcohol, driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, driving an unregistered vehicle, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Lane R. Lippelmann, 23, McPherson, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Jan. 26 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and of transporting an open container of alcohol.

Byron D. McDonald, 40, Cherokee, jailed Saturday on an unspecified warrant. Released 36 minutes later after posting a $500 bond. Previously jailed May 31 for failing to appear in court.

Andrew L. Smith, 47, Norton, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia, having no drug tax stamp, speeding, failing to display a license plate, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Held without bond.
