NEW JAILINGS

Jesse A. Boucher, 37, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released 1½ hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Viktoria A. Boucher, 35, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing an unknown controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Released less than an hour later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Joshua E. Chase, 35, North Newton, jailed April 27 for failing to appear in court. Released less than half an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed May 5, 2025, and March 30, 2018, for failing to appear in court and Feb. 6, 2018, on suspicion of an unspecified municipal or county violation.

Shannon L. DeNardi, 51, Peabody, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing stimulants. Held in lieu of posting a $1 million bond. Previously jailed Dec. 11 and 12, 2025, and March 17, 2024, for allegedly violating her probation; Oct. 13 to 15, 2023, on court orders; and Sept. 14, 2023, on suspicion of driving without a valid license.

Michael D. DeNardi, 57, Peabody, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of distributing stimulants. Held in lieu of posting a $1 million bond.

Kevin W. Geren, 64, Marion, arrested April 28 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of theft and criminal trespassing. Released less than half an hour later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed 16 times for a total of all or part of 92 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and March 2, 2026. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court seven times, for allegedly violating his probation once, for being jailed on court orders three times, and on suspicion of distributing stimulants, attempting to flee or elude police during commission of a felony, making a criminal threat, failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, and of possessing stimulants four times, marijuana three times, drug paraphernalia five times, and a hallucinogen once.

Eric M. Hale, 39, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by Hillsboro police for failing to appear in court. Released nearly 3½ hours later after posting a $2,000 bond. Previously jailed Nov. 18 and 19 for allegedly violating his parole and Oct. 21 and 22 on suspicion of transporting an open container of alcohol, driving without a required anti-drinking interlock, improper vehicle registration, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Austin B. Hiebert, 29, Peabody, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released less than two hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Joseph W. Heubach, 29, Newton, arrested April 29 by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released 16 hours later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed May 1 to 3, 2023, and May 7 to June 8, 2021, for allegedly violating his probation and March 13 to 16, 2021, on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia and failing to appear in court.

Tyler J. Hutson, 32, Newton, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released three hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Michael P. Lara Jr., 39, McAllen, Texas, held Monday for McPherson County.

Brennan M. Leighton, 19, Sedgwick, jailed Saturday for failing to appear in court. Released less than half an hour later after posting a $500 bond.

Jesse L.R. Rose, 25, Newton, jailed April 27 for failing to appear in court. Released less than half an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Jan. 14 for failing to appear in court.

Lyndon A. Rose, 25, Newton, jailed April 27 for failing to appear in court. Released half an hour later after posting a $500 bond.

Samuel I. Reffett, 43, Baxter Springs, jailed April 29 for failing to appear in court six times. Held in lieu of posting a $250,000 bond. Previously jailed 12 times for a total of all or part of 66 days between Jan. 21, 2022, and July 23, 2025. Previous jailings were on court orders five times, for allegedly violating his probation six times, for failing to appear in court twice, on suspicion of domestic battery twice, and on suspicion of making a criminal threat, tampering with a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, driving without a required interlock, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Eric J. Williams, 38, Marion, jailed Monday for failing to appear in court and for allegedly violating his probation twice. Held in lieu of posting $4,000 in bonds. Previously jailed 30 times for a total of all or part of 235 days between Dec. 21, 2017, and April 3, 2026. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court 18 times, for allegedly violating his probation four times, on court orders three times, for contempt of court three times, for allegedly violating his parole once, for revocation of bond once, on hold for the Kansas Department of Corrections once, and on suspicion of burglary; domestic battery; driving without a valid license; felony criminal damage to property; fleeing law enforcement; possession of drug paraphernalia, marijuana, and stimulants; theft; criminal damage to property; and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
