NEW ARRESTS

Skyler R. Bryant, 29, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of failing to have vehicle liability insurance and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Released 7½ hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

James L. Findley, 46, Peabody, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of domestic battery, disorderly conduct, criminal damage to property, and interference with law enforcement. Released Monday without bond. Previously jailed eight times for a total of all or part of nine days between Feb. 7, 2018, and July 2, 2025. Previous jailings were on suspicion of domestic battery, for failing to appear in court nine times, and on an outstanding warrant.

Paige K. Garcia, 23, Florence, arrested June 2 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of aggravated domestic battery and failing to stop at an accident. Released Thursday after posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed April 18 to 20, 2025, on court orders, and June 9 and 10, 2024, on suspicion of making a criminal threat, criminal trespassing, disorderly conduct, and interfering with law enforcement.

Derek A. Gautschi, 35, Marion, arrested June 2 by Marion police on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Released Thursday after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed March 28 to 30, 2025, on court orders and Aug. 20 to 23, 2023, on suspicion of domestic battery, aggravated battery, simple battery, disorderly conduct, criminal restraint, child endangerment, and interfering with law enforcement.

Javier Gonzales, 56, Moundridge, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Released an hour later after posting a $1,000 bond.

Cory L. Hiebert, 32, Sylvania, Ohio, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released 11 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Deven J. Johnson, 28, Los Angeles, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing marijuana. Released four hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.

Ray C. Stringer, 36, Durham, arrested June 3 by Hillsboro police on suspicion of possessing a stolen firearm, criminal possession of a firearm by a felon, and interference with law enforcement. Held in lieu of posting a $100,000 bond.
