Braylon Marquis Allen-Stovall, 400 S. Jefferson St., Hillsboro, pleaded not guilty April 8 to misdemeanor theft of a girls’ Huffy bicycle, diversion status hearing scheduled for May 13.

Joseph Bauer, 412 S. Main St., Hillsboro, pleaded not guilty April 14 to battery against Lana K. Bichet and disorderly conduct, brawling; defendant did not appear but made plea through attorney before appearing later in the hearing; pretrial conference scheduled for July 14, jury trial scheduled for Aug. 13.

Chad Allen Clark, 225 E. Hickory St., Apt. 304, Hesston, pleaded no contest April 14 to criminal tresprassing; in exchange, charge of disorderly conduct, raising alarm, dismissed with prejudice; found guilty of criminal trespassing and sentenced to six months unsupervised probation, fined $158.

Britney Marie Elilson, 520 E. Fair St., Independence, Missouri, pleaded not guilty April 14 to possession of marijuana, driving with expired vehicle registration, and speeding (84 in a 65 mph zone), pretrial status hearing scheduled for Tuesday.

Levi Jason Smith, whose listed residence is a room at Mark 8 Inn in Wichita, sentenced to 30 days house arrest, which was to begin May 1, after probation was revoked for failing to not possess illegal substances and to pay all fees owed, to serve seven consecutive days in custody of Marion County Sheriff beginning Aug. 24, subject to 12 months supervised probation, to begin when off house arrest.
