Dylan L. Horton, 18, Hillsboro, was formally charged May 14 with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Cory Allen Guinn, 28, Council Grove, was formally charged May 14 with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jacob Joseph Smith, 20, Marion, was formally charged Friday with possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Zach Shawn Dvorak, 21, Galva, was formally charged Friday with domestic battery.

Joseph A. Biehler, 27, Herington, was formally charged Friday with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a vehicle with no tag light.

Brendon Dale Schafer, 19, Hillsboro, was formally charged Friday with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession or consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Dustin L. Shiplet, 35, Marion, on April 10 pleaded no contest to two counts of violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act and was sentenced to six months in prison for one count, consecutive to 37 months prison for the other count.

Jason W. Hinton, 40, Florence, on April 4 pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property and was sentenced to nine months probation and ordered to pay $263 court costs and fines and undergo drug and alcohol and domestic violence assessments and complete a parenting class.

Bradley A. Carlson on April 4 waived preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial on three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Alicia Marie Tabares, 34, Council Grove, on May 14 was sentenced to 18 months’ community correction, and ordered to take drug treatment and pay $833 costs and fines.

Ethan Jacob Wessel, 28, Marion, was sentenced April 10 to five days in jail followed by a year’s probation for second time driving under the influence. He was ordered to pay $1,463 in fines and costs.

John Leroy Loomis, 47, Marion, on April 10 pleaded not guilty to possession of marijuana, driving under the influence, and driving on the left side of the roadway.

Terry Clover, 64, Peabody, had his probation revoked April 10 and was ordered to serve 48 hours in jail before his probation is reinstated.

Rita Marie Hood, 52, Florence, on April 11 was ordered to serve five 48-hour periods in jail before her probation is begun again for 12 months.

Julie Michelle Snyder, 39, Wichita, on May 2 waived preliminary hearing and was bound over for trial on charges of possession of methamphetamine, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while revoked, habitual violator, and transporting an open container of alcohol.

Jeana Ann Marie Franklin, 29, Wichita, on May 2 was bound over for trial on charges of non-residential burglary and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Laurie Jane Jones on May 2 was bound over for trial on charges of criminal discharge of a firearm and domestic battery.

Clinton T. Selle, 27, Peabody, was convicted May 14 of vehicle burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property. Sentencing will be later.

A charge of giving a worthless check earlier filed against Aron Jackson was dismissed April 26.

Richard Todd Litton, 32, Peabody, on March 21 pleaded guilty to endangering a child and was ordered to serve six months in jail concurrent to sentences in Harvey and Sedgwick counties. He was ordered to pay $193 court costs.
