Thomas C. Dewitt was sentenced May 12 to serve 48 hours in jail, then wear an electronic monitoring device for 90 days for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was ordered to pay $1,963.
Darin L. Hill formally was charged May 17 with five counts of violation of a protection from stalking order.
Rebekah D. Hurd pleaded no contest May 12 to distribution of methamphetamine and attempting to flee or elude an officer. Sentencing will be later. Dismissed were charges of possession of methamphetamine, counterfeiting currency, forgery, two counts of possession of stolen property, possession of drug paraphernalia, circumvention of an ignition interlock device, transportation of an open container of alcohol, reckless driving, two counts of running a stop sign, driving on the left side of the road, driving left in a no-passing zone, driving without valid registration, and speeding.
Sarah K. Kelley was convicted May 13 of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to a year’s probation and ordered to pay $663 and obtain a drug evaluation. A charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed.
Bryce A. Naerebout formally was charged May 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and possession of a firearm under the influence.
A bench warrant was issued May 5 for Shane R. Ringle after he failed to appear in court.
Molly B. Schofield formally was charged May 18 with possession of methamphetamine, driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked, and having no proof of insurance.
Charles R. Shelton Jr pleaded no contest May 9 to misdemeanor theft and was ordered to pay $558 plus $200 restitution to Evergy.
Marianne A. Siebert, Florence, was ordered to appear in court July 18 to show cause why she failed to appear for jury duty May 9.
Eric J. Williams was sentenced Feb. 8 to a year’s probation for theft.
Donald L. Wilson formally was charged Friday with driving under the influence, possession of a firearm under the influence, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, transportation of an open bottle of alcohol, and running a stop sign.
