Kevin W. Geren, 61, Marion, was sentenced Jan. 10 to 18 months drug treatment supervised by community corrections and to pay $920 for distribution of methamphetamine.

Clayton T. Lingenfelter, 24, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Jan. 23 to three counts of violation of the Kansas Offender Registration Act and one count of criminal possession of a firearm.

Luis C. Perez, 32, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest Nov. 28 to driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked and was ordered to serve five days in jail and to pay $208.

Bernard D. Porter pleaded no contest Jan. 18 to driving without a valid license in his possession and was ordered to pay $353. A charge of being a habitual violator of driving while his license was revoked was dismissed.

Austin E. Stahlheber, 19, Peabody, formally was charged Jan. 30 with possession of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Michael A. Stultz, 61, Hillsboro, was allowed Jan. 12 to withdraw his Oct. 11 plea of no contest to driving under the influence. The charge was dismissed. In a separate case, Stultz was allowed Dec. 14 to withdraw his Oct. 11 plea of no contest to driving under the influence. He pleaded no contest Jan. 10 to driving under the influence. He was sentenced to a year’s probation, to pay $1,005, and ordered to comply with a drug and alcohol evaluation. Besides one charge of driving under the influence, a charge of possession of methamphetamine was dismissed.

A bench warrant was issued Jan. 20 for Janessa M. Valle after she failed to appear in court.

Wade A. Wendt, 30, Burdick, formally was charged Jan. 31 with possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Eric J. Williams, 34, Marion, was sentenced Jan. 10 to 14 months in prison and to pay $150 plus $100 restitution to David Zeller for attempted burglary.
